Part-Time Professor in Foundation Engineering, Delft University of Technology
Frits van Tol has over 30 years experience as a geotechnical consultant and is a member of the scientific board of Deltares, former GeoDelft. For the last 15 years he has worked at Delft University of Technology, as part-time professor in Foundation Engineering.
He is involved in many major infra-structural projects in urban areas, including railway tunnels and subways, and in foundation design and foundation rehabilitation. At present he is active for Deltares as independent consultant for the North-South Subway line in Amsterdam.
