Call for papers response

There was an overwhelming response to the announcement in March 2009, with over 150 abstracts received from participants in 20 countries including: The Netherlands ~ Germany ~ Italy ~ USA ~ France ~ Pakistan ~ Iran ~ Spain ~ Thailand ~ Austria ~ Czech Republic ~ Ireland ~ Japan ~ South Korea ~ Switzerland ~ Sweden ~ Egypt ~ Australia ~ UK.
Rab  “The response to the call for papers announcement is a clear indicator of the strong level of interest in urban regeneration across the globe. For many engineering practitioners, sustainability in all of its aspects is the major challenge of the next decade, not least for urban regeneration. The excellent speaker line-up, topical themes and case studies demonstrate how this conference will address how the Foundations Industry will respond to this challenge.”
Rab Fernie, Chief Engineer, Cementation Skanska Ltd
